About Me

Hello! I'm Sam Garmany, a student at the University of Colorado Boulder, pursuing a dual degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (MCDB) and Computer Science. I'm currently an undergratuate researcher for the Donaldson Lab—an interdisciplinary lab housed within the MCDB and Psychology & Neuroscience departments—studying pair bonding using optogenetic and chemogenetic manipulation of prairie voles.

Outside of class I'm usuallly running, camping, or climbing mountains. So far I've climbed 51 of Colorado's 14ers and I'm hoping to finish the rest soon! I've added a few of my favorite climbing photos below.
